Competitive Analysis

Being a clothing company there are many other companies out there that are considered a competition. There is always someone out there who has similar products for a better price. However, I like to believe that the company I am representing has the best there is. They tend to draw their clients in by sending fliers in the mail, emails, and advertisements on social media web pages. Their advertising tactics may be similar to what my company puts out, but ours stand out because we are the brand that people trust.
Advertising and ethics can coexist. Certainly, public service advertising helps society and is the advertising profession's greatest contribution to the general good, one that cannot be denied or overstated. Landa, R. (2010) Advertising by Design: Generating and Designing Creative Ideas Across Media. Pg. 13
Companies can be close in many different ways and still be different. Some of the competition use different suppliers for their material so they get it at a lower price and are able to make a little bit bigger profit but just because they use a cheaper supplier doesn’t mean they get the quality of someone who costs a little bit more. Less is not always more. My company spends a little more money to get higher quality fabrics so that we can ensure that we are sending out the best of our brand and hold up to our reputation.

The act of creating art—painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, collage, photography, any traditional or nontraditional art—activates several parts of the brain, sharpens thinking, provokes the mind's associative network, and increases focus to a point where creative thinking can occur. Landa, R. (2010) Advertising by Design: Generating and Designing Creative Ideas Across Media. Pg. 40

The competing companies all share the same problem, they do not have the same reputation that we have, we have quality products that last.
